Abounding Grace church is led by a team of elders of which Gerrie is the lead pastor.
Russell is the Gospel Mission Society Chaplain in DTES Vancouver, the epicenter of the Fentanyl epidemic.
Russell and Gerrie have ministered as a couple since they were teenagers and took their first pastorate in Rhodesia in 1978 during the Rhodesian war. They have ministered all over the world, though they were based in southern Africa for 23 years, then in the UK for 16 years, and have been in Vancouver about 5 years now.Their ministry is quite diverse including evangelism, shepherding, counseling, discipling, and worship.
The Church started in the home of Raymond and Andrea De Leon in 2016. Abounding Grace is enriched by Raymond and Andrea’s wonderful ministry of evangelism, shepherding and hospitality.
